  • Built a meal planning web app with a team of 2 using React and Node.js, integrating ChatGPT AI for recipe suggestions and real-time ingredient recognition, and connecting to a PostgreSQL database with Prisma for pantry management.

GSK Chemical Engineering Design Project September 2020 – May 2021
  • Collaborated with 3 group members to design a chemical plant to produce an annual throughput of 1000 ton of amoxicillin trihydrate along with a wastewater treatment plant to manage and reduce waste to the U.K. legal limits. 
    • Completed the detailed P&ID and mechanical design of the main chemical reactor and its area (AutoCAD).
    • Developed a mathematical model and simulation of the chemical reaction and accurately calculated the parameters required for the design (MATLAB/Excel).
    • Conducted a financial and cost-benefit analysis of the overall plant and its operations (Excel). The model-driven approach contributed to 30% increased production efficiency and potentially significant operational cost savings.
    • Produced a detailed report and gave a technical presentation on the results to industry experts and a panel of academics (70%).
